Are animal rights respected in Poland?

I don’t think that animal laws are respected enough in Poland. People often treat animals like objects and we can see that every single day. Some people hit their pets and shout at them all the time, some people don’t take good enough care of their pupils. A lot of people believe that gifting an animal is a good idea. Unfortunately it often ends up with pets in shelters or even worse - in the middle of nowhere where they can freeze or starve to death. Another problem is the way people treat animals in farms. They treat them like things and keep them cramped together with almost no space. Sometimes they don’t even have access to natural light. That shows us that animal rights are not respected enough in Poland and we should do something to change it.
